Jeremiah Terhark

Founder, Owner

With a talent for technology and entrepreneurial spirit, Jeremiah founded Webspec Design in fall of 2000. He is passionate about marketing online and working closely with clients to see their goals achieved. Jeremiah focuses his energies on managing upcoming website projects, interacting with clients, and programming. He graduated from Evangel University with degrees in Accounting and Political Science. When not working, he and his wife enjoy being a foster family along with three kids of their own for five children five and younger at home.

Matt Crummy

Lead Designer

Matt is a graphic designer with experience in web and print design. Matt works to create sites that fuse functionality and aesthetics by focusing on audience, typographical hierarchy, and usability. He graduated from Drake University with a B.A. in Graphic Design. Matt also co-founded Veritas Magazine, a non-profit magazine in Des Moines. He lives in Beaverdale with his wife, Allie, and daughter, Charlotte. Matt enjoys playing piano, reading, church, the outdoors, and frisbee.

Kara Berhow

Designer, Project Manager

Kara strives to create high-quality designs and a positive experience for every client she works with. She has earned a B.A. in Communications with emphasis in journalism, graphic design, and electronic communications from Waldorf College. Kara spends many evenings and weekends working as owner/artist at Midwest Pet Paintings. Kara's favorite people are her husband, Marcus, and daughter, Kamryn (and of course, the furry family members: Toby, Thumper, June, Blondie and Sandy).

Tyler Abbott

Lead Developer

Tyler is a web developer keen about keeping up with the latest technologies available to make the user's experience smooth, efficient, and fun. He his a big fan of jQuery for user interface development and the Drupal content management platform for rapid and extensible site-building in PHP. Tyler earned degrees in journalism and computer science at the University of Iowa, where he learned the importance of the Web as a media platform and the value of collaboration. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and occasionally playing the piano and drums.

Cass Blaede

Developer

Cass enjoys all things tech including trying out the latest software and gadgets. He codes in HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript and is always looking to learn new things. He is a member of several open source projects and has always been a fan of open standards, especially on the web. In his spare time, Cass enjoys theatre, gaming, coming up with new ideas, and spending time with his girlfriend.

Will Crichton

Developer

When not eating food or speaking Chinese, Will works on all the odds-and-ends of web development. Never having used Windows 98, Will consistently strives to use the latest technologies in his work, fighting a never-ending battle to stay up-to-date. If he's not in programmer mode, Will enjoys PC gaming, enjoying warm weather when it gets here, and hanging out with his friends/girlfriend.

Aaron Brown

Project Manager, Sales

As Project Manager, Aaron coordinates designs from beginning to end. Aaron works closely with customers, designers, and developers to meet or exceed all customer expectations. As a Sales Rep, Aaron works to create innovative and affordable solutions in Web Design, Print Design, and Online Marketing. Aaron earned his B.A. in Business with emphasis in Management and Marketing from Iowa State University. He enjoys spending time with his wife, disc golfing, watching the Chicago Cubs, and visiting friends and family.

Josh Borchers

Server Administrator, Project Manager

Josh specializes in interactive media marketing, tech support and implementation. When not solving technical issues, Josh works on the weekends as a master of the blow-torch in applying vinyl graphics. In his free time Josh likes traveling, working on cars, watching movies and spending time with his wife.

Zach Terhark

Technical Services

Zach is pleased to assist clients with website updates and technical support. From setting up web advertising campaigns to quoting website projects, Zach enjoys helping in whatever way he can. Outside of work, Zach likes watching movies, going target shooting, spending time with friends and family.

Josh Poindexter

DSM Daily, Social Media Manager

Josh is a marketing and social media pioneer. He's a student at Drake University and an ardent learner. He has an inordinate passion for words, loves to read and explore the wilderness. If it involves an adventure, he'll do it. Josh is also a musician and a soccer fanatic.

Matthew Stites

Iowa Vinyl Graphics, Manager

Has experience in the signage, vinyl and graphics industry for over 5 years. Matthew strives on building relations with clients to providing the most cost effective advertising. In September 2011 Matthew will have his Masters degree in Business Leadership from William Penn University. His bachelor major was Business Management with two minors: Industrial Technology, Economics from William Penn University. In his free time he likes to play any sport. He is also into Sailing and motorcycles.

Steve Powell

Iowa Vinyl Graphics, Installer

Steve is a Des Moines native who has worked in the sign industry for 10 years. Steve is 3m certified and has experience as an electrician. He enjoys music, backpacking, hiking, bicycling, running. Steven is a new father and spends as much time as he can with his daughter- Olivia, girlfriend- Renee and also a part of the family: his two dogs and two cats.
