Jeremiah Terhark

Founder/Owner

With a talent for technology and entrepreneurial spirit, Jeremiah founded Webspec Design in Fall of 2000. He is passionate about marketing online and working closely with clients to see their goals acheived.

Jeremiah focuses his energies on managing upcoming website projects, interacting with clients, and programming. He graduated from Evangel University with degrees in Accounting and Political Science. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two toddlers, Julia and Lucy.

Matt

Lead Designer

Matt is a graphic designer with experience in web and print design. Matt works to create sites that fuse functionality and aesthetics by focusing on audience, typographical hierarchy, and usability. He graduated from Drake University with a B.A. in Graphic Design. Matt also co-founded Veritas Magazine, a non-profit magazine in Des Moines. He'll soon live in Beaverdale with his wife-to-be, Allie. Matt enjoys playing piano, reading, church, the outdoors, and frisbee.

Tyler

Lead Programmer

Tyler is a web developer keen about keeping up with the latest technologies available to make the user's experience smooth, efficient, and fun. He his a big fan of jQuery for user interface development and the Drupal content management platform for rapid and extensible site-building in PHP. Tyler earned degrees in journalism and computer science at the University of Iowa, where he learned the importance of the Web as a media platform and the value of collaboration. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and occasionally playing the piano and drums.

Kara

Graphic Design/Project Management

Kara works to create quality designs and a positive experience for every client she works with. Kara earned a BA in Communications with emphases in journalism, graphic design, and electronic communications from Waldorf College. In her spare time, Kara enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her family, friends and two dogs.

Ed

Programming

Ed has programming in his blood and has helped establish over 100 websites since his tenure began at Webspec; some are small and some have been reached by over a million people. He enjoys applying his knowledge to every project and also learning something new with each project. When Ed is not working he enjoys spending time at concerts, frisbee golfing, working on side-projects, playing videogames and studying for certifications.

Eric

Interactive Media/Sales

Eric is the lead sales consultant in our Forest city office. Over the years Eric has honed his skills in video production, web design, and photography and actively explores new technologies and methods to make sure his clients are benefitting from the latest innovations and industry standards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Waldorf College with an emphasis in Electronic Media.

Josh

Technical Services

Josh specializes in interactive media marketing, tech support and implementation. When not solving technical issues, Josh works on the weekends as a master of the blow-torch in applying vinyl graphics. In his free time Josh likes traveling, working on cars, watching movies and spending time with his wife.

Cass

Jr. Developer

Cass enjoys all things tech including trying out the latest software and gadgets. He codes in HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript and is always looking to learn new things. He is a big fan of open source software and open standards, especially on the web. In his spare time, Cass enjoys theatre, gaming, writing software, and spending time with his girlfriend.
